Questions & Answers
What kind of research do you do?
I focus on computational methods to explore topics like educational equity, wildfire risk, public health, and AI ethics & much more—using data to tell human stories.
How do you decide which projects to work on?
I usually follow a mix of personal curiosity and community impact. If something blends data, design, and a social mission—I’m in.
What tools or skills do you use in your research?
I work with Python, R, GIS (ArcGIS), SQL, natural language processing, and data visualization libraries. More importantly, I try to ask good questions.
Can I see the full version of your research posters or apps?
I’m currently working on making full versions available with thoughtful context and accessibility in mind. I want to ensure the experience is meaningful and easy to navigate—thank you for your patience as I get that just right.
Do you collaborate with others on your work?
Absolutely. I’ve worked alongside researchers, educators, and students. Collaboration makes the work more meaningful (and fun).
